Johnson County Government is seeking a Mental Health Clinician to join our Children's Services Program. The position is based at the Olathe Mental Health clinic and will work as part of a treatment team and provide trauma focused evidence-based clinical services to children. Johnson County has implemented a skill-based pay plan of up to $4200 annually for staff who have obtained licensure by the BSRB at the Clinical Level. First review of applications will be September 29th. Job Description Responsibilities of the position include:
Job Requirements Minimum Job Requirements: Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or other Human Services field and Kansas Behavioral Sciences licensure at the master's level in the area of focus are required. Requires a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record. *Applicants who meet Kansas licensure requirements may be considered if Kansas licensure is obtained by time of an employment offer and licensure is pending confirmation at the time of employment application. Johnson County Government requires reference/background screening for all positions. Specified criteria may vary by Department/Agency. Preferred Job Requirements: Kansas Behavioral Sciences license at the clinical level; licensed as a Masters or Clinical Addiction Counselor by the Behavioral Health Sciences Regulatory Board with the State of Kansas, experience working in a community mental health setting; experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities are preferred. | |||||||||||||||||
