INVISTA is currently seeking a Reliability Manager to join our industry leading team at our Seaford, DE site. We are looking for a leader that will help advance our Principle Based Management culture and build site capability through empowering teams, driving asset strategies, and aligning priorities to achieve operational and stability excellence.

Our Team

As a site leader, this role reports to the Plant Manager and leads a team of Reliability Engineers, owning the site's Asset Reliability Strategy and Mechanical Integrity Programs. You will partner across the organization to build and mature site reliability capability, establish sustainable reliability systems and work processes, and align reliability priorities with business objectives. This role will play a key part in strengthening asset stewardship, improving equipment reliability, and reducing unplanned downtime. While the Seaford site is continuing to develop its reliability capability, you will be supported by INVISTA's established reliability standards, Asset Management resources, and network of peer sites to accelerate progress and deliver long-term value.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the development and implementation of Seaford's Asset Reliability Strategy and Asset Health framework, establishing the systems, work processes, and capabilities needed to drive long-term reliability performance.
  • Build and mature reliability programs, leveraging INVISTA's established standards, best practices, and Asset Management resources to accelerate site capability.
  • Develop sustainable processes for asset health management, mechanical integrity, risk identification, and reliability improvement.
  • Apply reliability engineering tools and methodologies including RCA, FMEA, RCM, condition monitoring, and predictive analytics to eliminate failures and improve asset performance.
  • Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and site leadership to prioritize risks, address reliability gaps, and align efforts with business objectives.
  • Build organizational capability by coaching and developing reliability talent, strengthening problem-solving effectiveness, and fostering a culture of stewardship and ownership.
  • Lead reliability transformation initiatives that establish best practices, improve work process discipline, and create sustainable performance improvements.
  • Drive measurable business results through improved asset reliability, reduced unplanned downtime, effective risk management, and execution of high-value improvement opportunities.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Five (5) or more years' experience in asset reliability, maintenance, or related manufacturing leadership roles in a heavy industrial or manufacturing setting
  • Experience developing and executing equipment strategies, such as lifecycle strategies, system upgrades, overhauls, or projects.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Five (5) or more years' experience in manufacturing asset reliability or maintenance leadership in at least one of these industries: chemical, nylon, polymer, plastics, non-wovens, carpet, or textiles
  • Experience applying continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean manufacturing, operational excellence, or similar frameworks.
  • Experience with condition-based maintenance, monitoring technologies, digital tools, or predictive reliability strategies.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and approvals for equipment procurement.
