As an Armed Security Officer - Television Network Patrol in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer supporting a dynamic commercial real estate location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This role requires a Law Enforcement Officer License and offers the opportunity to contribute through teamwork, integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation.

Pay Rate: $34.02 - $35.02 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, critical situations, alarms, and requests for assistance in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the property, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery protocols.
• Prepare accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports; communicate observations and relevant information to site leadership, law enforcement, and Allied Universal management as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid Law Enforcement Officer License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
