Partner Audit Remediation Program Manager

Waymo's Partner and Vendor Audit Team is a collaborative and innovative group responsible for protecting the integrity, safety, and operational continuity of the Waymo ecosystem by validating that external entities continuously meet our standards. Our team manages the audit programs that hold external partners accountable and ensures issues are remediated in a timely manner. In this role, you will lead assurance activities with our most strategic partners, manage ongoing assurance relationships, and make a company-wide impact.

This position is a remote role and reports to the Head of Partner Audit.

You will:

• Oversee the enterprise audit activities related to partner continued conformity with Waymo's partner standards
• Review audits of partners to assess their adherence to agreements, legal requirements, and ethical guidelines.
• Collaborate with partners to address compliance or conformance issues and implement corrective action plans.
• Follow up on audit findings to ensure implementation of corrective actions and Waymo SME sign-off
• Provide guidance to partners on conformance with best practices and regulatory changes.
• Provide regular updates to leadership about partner remediation performance

You have:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Safety, or a related field or equivalent practical experience
• 5 years experience in compliance, auditing, or a related role
• Strong knowledge of auditing principles, practices, and standards
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

We prefer:

• Professional certifications such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or other similar certifications
• Experience in risk management and compliance program development
• Experience conducting internal, vendor, and partner audits
• Experience in project management

Travel requirements:

• Up to 50% travel required
