Security Officer Full-Time Parking Patrol

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Parking Patrol in Pittsburgh, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a busy transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors with professionalism and care. You will communicate clearly, document observations, and collaborate with onsite teams while representing Allied Universal's values of reliability, integrity, innovation, and teamwork.

Overnight Parking Lot/Garage Patrol on Penn Avenue, Pittsburgh

Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, parking patrons, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of parking facilities, access points, pedestrian areas, and surrounding perimeters to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor parking areas, entrances, exits, and designated locations for unusual conditions, unauthorized access, damaged property, or hazards, and report observations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, parking-related disputes, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting additional assistance from appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Complete accurate reports, maintain professional communication with site contacts, and support a welcoming environment for transportation facility patrons.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
