As an unarmed patrol officer at a leading educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter incidents through a visible presence, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $17.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and other members of the campus community while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, parking facilities, walkways, and surrounding campus perimeter.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazardous conditions, access concerns, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and required documentation while communicating professionally with campus stakeholders and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Possess at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have access control or badge experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
