POSITION SUMMARY

People & Organization (P&O) / Human Resource (HR) Business Partners are integral to carrying out a variety of functions within a human resources department. The individual in this role may be involved in: recruitment, labor or employee relations, change management, training, compensation, learning and development, payroll administration or any other area of human resources. Specifically, this position will focus on providing support and guidance for new, relocating, or expanding sites and site closures or reductions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Serves as a subject matter expert for human resource functions within project teams
  • Has a clear understanding of project timelines and creates and executes a schedule to ensure milestones and critical tasks are met.
  • Provides solutions regarding: HR needs,compensation and incentive plans, new hire orientation, recruiting, performance appraisal systems, employee relations, employee handbooks, job descriptions, local and country compliance, management and employee training, policy development, etc.
  • Provides site-specific solutions for tracking employee data to ensure sites are set up for success.
  • Provides regularly scheduled updates to the project team, leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Escalates any identified issues or risks to the appropriate leader.
  • Ensures support of the HR function for new sites until permanent support is identified and trained. This includes maintaining employee personnel files and HRIS and payroll system records, supporting payroll processing, supporting benefits enrollment, supporting the hiring function by posting jobs, screening and/or hiring candidates, and assisting in the resolution of any associate relations issues. This could include conducting investigations as needed.
  • Ensures support of the HR function for closing sites and performs related tasks as assigned,
  • Communicates company policies and supports leadership's enforcement of these policies.
  • Working with direction from higher level Human Resource management, may research, employment laws, human resources policies, and communicate the information effectively to the client.
  • Must be willing to travel locally and throughout the Unites States as needed.
  • Travel is typically pre-planned and is estimated to be about 30% - 50% including local and domestic.



SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education& Experience:Bachelor's degree in human resources, business or a related field and 3 years' experience working in Human Resource field required or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Experience opening new sites and/or managing multiple projects is a plus

  • Microsoft Office
  • Experience with HRIS systems



Certificates & Licenses:Recognized HR Professional Certification a plus

For this position, the expected base pay range is $77,000.00 - $85,000.00 . Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
