We are seeking highly motivated Civil Engineering and Construction Management graduates to join our team as Field Engineers beginning in May 2027. This is an entry-level opportunity to build hands-on experience supporting the construction of major highway, bridge and other heavy civil infrastructure projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. What You'll Gain As a Field Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced Project Managers, Project Engineers and Superintendents while gaining hands-on experience on major transportation infrastructure projects. You will be exposed to the complete construction process-from project planning and estimating through field execution, quality control, scheduling and project closeout. Essential skills and experience Target Candidates: Students pursuing a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or a related field who will graduate between December 2026 and May 2027.
Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required toCarry tools and equipment,climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and see and hear well (either naturally or with correction), stand; walk, (stand for long periods of time) handle, or feel; use arms and hands to reach for, handle and manipulate objects. The employee must frequently work or walk on uneven ground and is required to wear steel toed boots at all times.It is mandatory that the employee wear approved personal protective equipment.The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Perform a variety of duties while exposed to outside elementsor confined spaces. Repeat tasks of short duration according to set procedures and evaluate information using measurable. Follow set procedures and standards.
