Job Posting Title: Systems Assistant, Junior WMS Superuser

POSITION SUMMARY

The Junior WMS Super User is responsible for overseeing WMS issues that arise affecting DSV Operations or Client Operations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to troubleshooting, maintaining and supporting the facilities WMS. The Junior WMS Super User will provide solutions to WMS issues, open incidents with cooperate IT for any issues that cannot be resolved locally, set up RF and printers in WMS, and efficiently communicate risks to Management. The Junior WMS Super User will effectively communicate and work with WMS Super User throughout Change Request life cycle which includes performing UAT testing. In addition to WMS issues, the Junior WMS Super User will be required to investigate and resolve EDI issues from Client or DSV side. May be required to be "on call" outside of normal business hours in order to resolve system failures or other problems. Will rely on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Operations

Acts as the secondary support of the client's systems solutions for the user community

Works to identify and resolve system issues on floor pertaining to all functions

Actively works with Super User to come up with systemic solutions

Develop and produce regular reports as needed for operations

Will actively work with corporate IT to resolve issues that cannot be solved locally via detailed incidents

Review WMS and operational processes to verify transactions are accurately executed

Deliver improvement proposals on warehouse activity and WMS system

Actively working to resolve client issues pertaining to WMS and EDI

Support operation to set up RDT Scanner and Printers in CargoWRITE

Strong understanding of warehouse functions: Inbound and Outbound

Effectively communicate issues to Management

Conduct UAT testing for change requests as needed and suggested by Super User

Works with Super User to resolve Client or DSV EDI issues

Works with Super User to create WMS change requests

Computer Skills

Mid to Senior Microsoft Office skills

Technical knowledge of technologies appropriates to the assigned application or set of applications, business unit or region.

Experience in the administration and maintenance of infrastructure, software, systems, etc.

Experience with Red Prairie, RF/ RDTs, UNIX, proprietary WMS

Wi-Fi experience / RF systems and equipment experience

Language Skills

English (reading, writing, verbal)

Interpersonal communication and language skills (e.g., listening to others, speaking to others, reading, writing).

Communication (facilitation skills and very mature communication skills to be able to communicate to all levels in the organization).

Basic to Intermediate skills needed.

Education & Experience:

Either Four-year degree in a computer related field or 2-year degree and relevant experience is basic requirement

Minimum of 1 year of job related/relevant experience.

1-3 years of experience is preferred.

Experience dealing with end users, vendors, and clients.

End to end understanding of the business intelligence and all the components required to run a BI environment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee rarely is exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.

Working conditions are normal for a warehouse environment. Exposure to changing warehouse temperatures is possible.

May be required to be "on-call" outside of normal business hours in order to resolve system failures or other problems.

For this position, the expected base pay range is $24.00 - $28.00 Hourly. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
