SUMMARY

Production Manager is
responsible to lead & manage the production team. The team consist of Fillers & Loaders
for safely handling and filling gas products into liquid, medical and
high-pressure gas cylinders in compliance with federal, state, local
regulations, and meeting The Company's standard operating procedures. This
individual is responsible for providing daily feedback and recommendations to
the Hub Plant Manager, Distribution Manager (Counterpart), & Site Manager
(Counterpart) on matters of status, issues, and requirements. This position
reports directly to the Hub Plant Manager.

Essential Function
Manage a team of Fillers & Loaders. Hold Fillers accountable to fill all gas cylinders, high and low pressure, and liquid containers in accordance with safety procedures & quality. Understands hazards of various gases, size and contents of cylinders by reading and interpreting cylinder labels and the color-coding of tanks. Accurately labels cylinders. Hold Fillers & Loaders accountable for safe & secured movement of cylinders as required in the plant & for load and unload of trucks. Ensures all documentation and forms are in compliance with company policy and FDA requirements during the fill process. Accurately and legibly ensures products are labeled properly, with current decals and lot numbers. Forms include daily production report, FDA log sheet, Label Verification form, Calibration form and Bulk log sheet. Ensure equipment PM's and calibrations are performed. Oversee and drive the safety culture & with all government and company standards relating to the safe handling of hazardous materials/cylinder gases. Identifying production improvements for TRW & SIP projects. Maintain a neat, clean and orderly workplace through proper housekeeping & 5S procedures. Monitor and maintain Kanbans and manage cylinder & container assets to meet On Time Delivery. Identify training needs with the team and develop plans for cross training and personal development with each associate. Manage By Walk Around & Report incidents including accidents, injuries, near misses, unsafe acts or conditions. Oversee the Helium Transfill part of the business.

welding and safety supply industry or chemical industry preferred.

Minimum one year experience in the
gas/welding industry as a warehouse worker or a driver.

Excellent customer service skills

Strong verbal and written communication

Strong level of attention to detail.

Ability to read and comprehend material
safety data sheets.

Ability to work independently and under
some pressure to meet deadlines.

Ability to perform math functions and
analysis as needed by the position.

Computer Skills-
Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, & the ability to work through the
intranet and web links

Must be able to read and write and perform
mathematical exercises of moderate complexity.

Must be able to work with a wide variety of
people with different personalities and backgrounds

Ability to safely operate a forklift.
