Your Job

Molex is seeking a Pricing Deal Desk Manager to establish and lead pricing governance within the Optical Connectivity Group. This role will support profitable growth by driving pricing discipline, contract governance, and deal execution excellence across commercial activities. You will partner with Sales, Business Development, Product Management, and Finance to guide pricing decisions, support complex negotiations, and ensure commercial opportunities align with business objectives.

Location: This is an onsite role based at our global headquarters in Lisle, IL.

What You Will Do

  • Lead contract pricing and special-pricing approval processes, including governance for exceptions and non-standard terms
  • Partner with Sales and Business Development teams to support negotiation strategies and pricing decision-making
  • Establish and enforce pricing guardrails, approval thresholds, and profitability standards
  • Manage deal desk operations, including intake, routing, escalation management, service-level expectations, and audit requirements
  • Develop and maintain pricing playbooks, approval frameworks, and commercial guidance materials
  • Evaluate complex commercial opportunities and recommend solutions that balance customer value with business objectives
  • Identify pricing trends and approval patterns that create opportunities for process improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to improve pricing consistency and execution quality

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience in commercial pricing, deal desk, sales operations, or commercial finance in a B2B environment
  • Experience supporting or governing contract/special pricing approvals and structured approval workflows
  • Strong commercial judgment, attention to detail, and execution focus
  • Ability to influence and align stakeholders across Sales/BDM, Product, and Finance
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work seamlessly across multiple cross-functional capabilities and teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

What Will Put You Ahead

  • 7+ years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in RFQ-based or complex B2B quoting environments for large accounts.
  • Working knowledge of CRM/CPQ/ERP workflows (Salesforce/CPQ/SAP exposure).
  • Experience working in manufacturing companies, preferably in optical connectivity, electronics, or interconnect solutions.
  • Experience with visualization tools for creating dashboards and KPIs

For this role, we anticipate paying $150,000 - $200,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
