We are seeking a versatile Copywriter to join our client's team for an onsite role in Milwaukee, WI. In this role, you will be responsible for bringing our client's brand voice to life across a wide range of channels - from high-impact in-store displays to performance marketing and digital campaigns.

The ideal candidate possesses 4 to 6 years of copywriting experience, a sharp eye for detail, and a knack for crafting strong, clever, and polished headlines. Retail fashion experience is highly preferred, as you will be crafting copy that resonates with fashion-conscious consumers and drives action.


Responsibilities

  • Headline & Creative Copy: Craft witty, clever, and highly polished headlines that capture attention and align with brand tone.
  • In-Store & Retail Marketing: Write engaging physical copy for in-store signage, displays, and promotional materials.
  • Direct Mail: Develop compelling direct mail pieces that drive customer engagement and foot traffic.
  • Performance & CRM Copy: Create copy for CRM initiatives, customer retention campaigns, and performance marketing assets that deliver measurable results.
  • Social Media: Draft dynamic social copy optimized for target audiences across various platforms.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: 4-6 years of professional copywriting experience (agency or in-house).
  • Industry Background: Prior experience in retail fashion is strongly preferred.
  • Versatility: Proven ability to shift tone seamlessly across performance copy, witty editorial headlines, and direct-to-consumer communications.
  • Portfolio: Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of work across direct mail, in-store, digital, social, and performance marketing.
