Test Engineer

Test Engineer (CSG Systems Inc. d/b/a CSG, Englewood, CO)

Review the overall architecture of basic hardware, software, and networking systems by composing detailed test plan scripts, executing the tests, documenting the results, and analyzing the output. Identify data needed for tests. Create new data or obtain existing data to meet requirements of the test. Work with Test & Defect Management tools. Understand the requirements and perform basic development, maintenance of the test suites per project needs. Perform automated and manual test execution for functional, application, regression, and integration tests. Assist with rollout of new or upgraded hardware, software, and networking systems. Keep informed of emerging technologies and product offerings within the industry. Telecommuting is permitted 100%. Position reports to company HQ in Englewood, CO. Salary: $76,128 - $108,229.96 per year.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.

Must also have some experience or education with the following skills: Software testing including research, design, methodologies/processes, implementation, and documentation; Software testing tools and evaluation of testing tools; Software test plan development and test environments; Planning and organizing test plan execution; and Testing methodologies and procedures.
