Position Summary

The function of the Equipment Installation Coordinator is to provide direct support to specific DAR PRO customers and plants by coordinating Equipment requisitions and installations with the Dar Pro equipment team. The coordinator is also supporting the backup responsibilities of similar Equipment Installation Coordinator positions. A strong emphasis is put on scheduling, coordination of multiple jobs, and exemplary service. This position requires attention to detail and strong organization skills.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Support for Indoor Equipment Installations
    • Facilitate requisitions & invoice matching for 3rd Party Installer companies.
  • Support for DarLinQ National Roll-out implementation
    • Initiate and maintain regular communication with customer across the install life cycle, ensure timely customer follow-up, and resolve open questions.
    • Understand the requirements from the customer as well as the technical aspects of the equipment and installations.
    • Ensure all equipment, parts & materials are ordered, prepared & managed.
    • Schedule pre and post job inspections/surveys.
    • Relay accurate information to management and technicians, ensuring proficient, quality customer experiences.
    • Ensure proper Oracle inputs, resulting in operations' teams providing quality service
  • Support as back-up responsibility
    • Indoor equipment order submissions in our CRM system (Oracle Sales Cloud) for accuracy and completeness.
    • Effective coordination of multiple crews through:
      • Installer coordination - oversee all installation schedules, jobs & resources.
      • Scheduling - direct the install leads on a job specific basis.
    • All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1-year of experience working in either:
    • Customer Service in an office environment, and/or
    • Project Coordination
  • Demonstrated work experience using Microsoft Office as well as CRM or order management systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • College (2-4 year) degree preferred.
  • Good general mechanical background.
  • Able to learn, understand and apply new technologies.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, positive attitude.
  • Ability to be assertive and persuasive without being aggressive.
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency and decisiveness as appropriate.
