As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal in an armed patrol role at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will support daily operations through strong communication, customer service, and teamwork while reflecting Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and/or public emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and help verify that only authorized individuals enter restricted or controlled areas, following post orders and established protocols for a government facility.
• Maintain readiness of assigned duty gear and firearms in accordance with company policy and post requirements, while performing assigned responsibilities with professionalism and attention to detail.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card/license.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Possess Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Possess 5+ years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
