As a Security Officer Access Console in Lakeland, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help support smooth access control operations. In this role, you will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Guided by a caring culture, teamwork, and integrity, you will help to deter security-related incidents while supporting a reliable and innovative workplace.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, process visitor and vendor access, and document deliveries, pickups, and/or other site activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and shift communications to support daily operations and security-related awareness at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
