As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Michigan City, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine patrols, support security-related operations, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and support entry and exit procedures for personnel, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with site requirements.
• Support security-related operations within an industrial location by maintaining awareness of posted instructions, restricted areas, and/or changing environmental conditions during patrols and routine assignments.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
