As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Auburndale, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will patrol assigned areas, perform routine driving patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and assigned security-related duties at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and documenting activity according to post orders.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, roadways, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and controlled access points, verify credentials when required, and report policy violations, hazards, and/or suspicious activity to the appropriate contacts.
• Prepare clear, timely reports on daily activities, incidents, and patrol observations, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 5 years of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
