Security Officer Unarmed Patrol

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Naples, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a professional atmosphere through strong communication and customer service. You will play an important role in responding to routine concerns, reporting activity, and contributing to a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and driven by integrity.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and the public by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directing foot and vehicle traffic, and help to maintain orderly operations during daily activities and special events.
• Support Allied Universal and location leadership by completing required reports, communicating clearly with stakeholders, and following post instructions for assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Provide a DD214 with honorable discharge, an associate degree or 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
