Field Superintendent - Telecom & Security Systems

Location: Childress, TX (Project Site Near Amarillo, TX)

Pay Rate: $50-$75 per hour DOE + $150/Day Per Diem (7 Days/Week)

Schedule: 50+ Hour Workweek

We are seeking an experienced Field Superintendent - Telecom & Security Systems to lead low-voltage construction activities on a large-scale industrial/high-tech project. This role is responsible for overseeing subcontractors, managing schedules, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and driving project execution from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise telecom, security, and low-voltage electrical subcontractors on complex construction projects.
• Coordinate daily activities with project teams, contractors, engineers, and clients.
• Manage project schedules, RFIs, submittals, QA/QC programs, and cost controls.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, permitting requirements, and project specifications.
• Resolve construction, design, and field installation issues.
• Support project staffing, planning, reporting, and contractor performance management.
• Review and interpret construction documents, specifications, and technical drawings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of low-voltage electrical, telecom, or security systems construction experience.
• Experience with large industrial, mission-critical, data center, or high-tech construction projects preferred.
• OSHA 30 Certification required.
• Strong knowledge of low-voltage distribution systems, UPS equipment, and structured cabling installations.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours to support construction schedules.
