As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist in Primm, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support shoppers, tenants, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, tenants, shoppers, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and perimeter access points, noting unusual activity and/or conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter unauthorized activity, loitering, and/or policy violations while maintaining a professional presence.
• Assist with access control, lost and found inquiries, customer assistance, and/or direction-giving, while reporting maintenance concerns, hazards, and other security-related issues to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
