Security Officer - Patrol Investigator

As a Security Officer Patrol Investigator in Ashburn, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including office areas, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and/or credential compliance in accordance with site protocols, helping to support controlled entry and professional interactions within a regulated business environment.
• Observe and report facility issues, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations, while following post orders and communication procedures for escalations, alarms, and other security-related events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Two or more years of security-related experience are required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
