Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by following site-specific access procedures, verifying credentials, and communicating entry requirements for the location.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and visitor activity to help support authorized access, document arrivals and departures, and report unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate contact.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, common areas, and the perimeter to help identify security-related concerns and support established policies.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and pass-down information related to visitor management, deliveries, and security-related incidents and/or maintenance issues observed during the shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
