As a Security Officer Patrol in Zeeland, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $18.58 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, loading zones, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify potential security-related concerns and report issues promptly.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help support authorized access, observe site activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or operational concerns.
• Complete routine reports and logs related to patrol activity, incidents, visitor interactions, and other security-related duties in accordance with site expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
