Job Summary

Step into a Project Manager role with ILC Dover, an Ingersoll Rand brand, where NASA-born innovation meets critical life science impact. In this role, you will hold end-to-end project management responsibilities supporting the Frederica-based team in delivering pharmaceutical equipment projects to external customers. This is a customer-facing project management role focused on coordinating schedules, vendors, supply chain, sales
, customers, and manufacturing partners from purchase order through customer commissioning. You will be responsible for building and managing project schedules, tracking deliverables, helping ensure milestones stay on time, and serving as a key liaison across internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate brings strong project management experience, the ability to manage multiple projects at once, comfort working cross-functionally without direct authority, and the technical aptitude to understand engineering drawings and equipment-related project requirements. A mechanical engineering background or history would make someone stand out, especially when paired with strong project management experience and the ability to translate technical details into clear project execution. This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, short-cycle projects, and the opportunity to support equipment used in pharmaceutical and life science manufacturing.

Responsibilties

Project Management:


  • Manage multiple engineering and capital projects simultaneously.
  • Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Track project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within approved budgets.


Engineering & Technical Support:


  • Prepare and review engineering specifications, drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and technical evaluations.
  • Provide engineering solutions to improve operational efficiency, safety, reliability, and quality.
  • Support equipment selection, design reviews, and system integration activities.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate product design for manufacturability and suggest design process adjustments and quality improvements
  • Engage in the selection, development, and testing of tools, fixtures, machinery, and equipment used in manufacturing
  • Investigate manufacturing processes for cost reduction opportunities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with design, engineering, process, and/or production teams to meet quality, productivity, and cost objectives
  • Monitor project costs and forecast expenditures.
  • Support procurement activities to ensure timely acquisition of materials and services.


Stakeholder Coordination:


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Procurement, and Finance.
  • Coordinate activities with external contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
  • Facilitate project meetings and communicate project expectations to all stakeholders.


Safety & Compliance:


  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to all safety requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and participate in hazard reviews.
  • Ensure projects meet environmental, health, and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and records.


Requirements :


  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident due to access requirements for shared databases supporting government programs.
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, or related field of study;
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in project managementsi with a demonstrated understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • 4+ years experience working in manufacturing, industrial, automation, or process environments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
