As an LPN, you'll work alongside an experienced interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, support residents through their rehabilitation journey, and help individuals achieve their highest level of independence and well-being.

For a limited time MaineHealth is offering sign on bonuses for LPNs:
*0-1 years of experience eligible for $5,000 (full time)
*1-3 years of experience eligible for $7,500 (full time)
*3+ years of experience eligible for $10,000 (full time)

oEligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part-time LPN position. Bonus amount prorated for Part-time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
oCurrent MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

Summary:

Under direction of a Registered Nurse, the Licensed Practical Nurse - Long Term Care role provides supportive and restorative care to residents, reinforces the resident and family teaching program, and administers medications and treatments according to policies, procedures, and standards of the nursing practice.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program required.
  2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Licensed Practical Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
  3. Experience: One year of relevant experience preferred.
