Description MaineHealth Behavioral Health Nursing/Clinical Support For a limited time MaineHealth is offering sign on bonuses for Medical Assistants: 0-1 years of experience eligible for $4,000 (full time) 1+ years of experience eligible for $5,000 (full time) Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time MA position. Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment. This is a 40 hour per week position. Our Comprehensive Addiction Psychiatry Services (CAPS) clinic provides integrated behavioral health and substance use treatment, supporting individuals on their recovery journey through a multidisciplinary approach. As a Medical Assistant, you'll play an essential role in supporting providers and caring for patients in an outpatient behavioral health setting. Responsibilities include rooming patients, obtaining vital signs and health histories, administering medications and injections as appropriate, coordinating care, assisting with procedures, documenting in the electronic medical record, and helping patients feel welcomed, respected, and supported throughout their visit.
