Job Title: MaintenanceSupervisor

Operating Company: Environmental Solutions Group -Heil Environmental

Location: Fort Payne, AL

Reports to: Manager, Maintenance and Facility

Department: Operations

POSITION SUMMARY:

Help implement and support day to dayactivities andcoordinating all phases of the Maintenance Department in such a manner as to promote efficiency and cost control while reducing downtimein accordance withapplicable Company and regulatory guidelines.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:

  • Drive safety and environmental compliance.
  • Lead and own the safetymetricsandsafety-trainingprogram fordepartment.
  • Investigating incidents andinitiateroot cause corrective actions within the department.
  • Conduct 5S and safety audits,inspectionsand support Kaizen Events.
  • Support,planandsupervise Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) and repair programs to ensure compliancetolong and short-range goals.
  • Use and overseeMegamationand L2LSoftware Tracking and Reporting.
  • Lead and own the safety andsafety-trainingprogram fordepartment.
  • Monitorand document maintenance and repair activitiesinMegamationand L2LSoftware;work with Managerto coordinateassignments with other departments and contractor activities.
  • Engage team members in collaborative problem solving.
  • Support andSupervise directions from Manager foroverhaul and other major maintenance and repair activities to achievemaximumunit availability within budgeted costs.
  • Support and training for the development of maintenance personnel.
  • Ensure that maintenance and repair activities are conductedin accordance withapplicable regulatory requirements, companypracticesand procedures.
  • Take an active role in supporting quality initiatives such as QS9000 and ISO14001.
  • Maintains cleanliness and order of work area,equipmentand tools.
  • Learnsandparticipatesin problem solving methods to supportobjectives.
  • Performs other various duties asrequired.
  • Need to have a highmind setof reducing MTTR and MTBF and completion of any projects on time as plannedwithout slipping the dates.
  • Plan the annual July shutdown. Perform budget reviews such as spare parts spending/approval, OT, usage/spending, and other Department spending.
  • Need to be able to work on weekends if the maintenance team needs any help and/or if there are any special projects scheduledonweekends.
  • Good Knowledge in Paint shop,Monitoring andmaintainingthe Paint shop parameters.,
  • This job requiresreadingandunderstandingthePaint shopmachine maintenance manuals and electrical diagrams.
  • The position often confrontscomplex issues and problems that require careful analysis and diagnosis.
  • Good Knowledge in Paint shops,Monitoring andmaintainingthe Paint shop parameters.
  • Up to 10% of travelmaybeneeded for this role.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical,Electrical Engineeringor Engineering Technology ispreferredor equivalent experience.
  • 10 years ofexperience including supervisory experience.PreviousMaintenanceexperience within a manufacturing environmentrequired.
  • Complete working knowledge of plant maintenance and systems.
  • Electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic,CNCandPLC knowledge toassistto trouble shootproblems.
  • Able to read and understandblue prints(mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic). AutoCAD knowledgepreferred.
  • Demonstratedleadershipability to plan, schedule, direct and review work of more than one functional area; deal effectively withteam members, develop improved procedures as needed; interpret company policies,proceduresand practices.
  • Ability to assume a leadershiprolemakeseffective decisions, and exercise good judgment, particularly in unexpected or abnormal situations.
  • Mustdemonstrateintegrity, accountability, and dependability.
  • Comfortable in all working environments, indoors and outdoors.
  • Ability tointerface withvendors and contractors.
  • Ability tointerface withemployees at all levels in the organization.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Must be flexible to work either day or night shifts and open to the weekend work.
  • Ability to respond to problems on short or no notice.
  • Essential Physical Requirements:Climbstairs and ladders. Work at heights and with adverse conditions during operation and whenparticipatingin fire and emergency activities. Enter and work in a confined space. Must be able to accurately read and interpret instruments and gauge. Pass arespirator physicaland respirator fit test. Hear and understand audible alarms, detect changes in noise levels of rotatingequipmentand portable radio communication.
