Inova Fairfax Hospital is looking for a dedicated Pathology Office Coordinator to join the team! This role will be Full-time Day Shift: Monday-Friday.

Pathology Office Coordinator Job Responsibilities:

  • The Pathology Office Coordinator ensures that policies, procedures and regulations are adhered to in all Inova Health System locations as it relates to conducting Laboratory testing to meet the needs of medical staff and patients.

  • Promotes the Pathology Laboratory and its services by ensuring that patients receive exceptional quality healthcare services.

  • Recommends and assists Laboratory leadership and the Medical Director in planning, policy and operational matters.

  • Responsible for the coordination of administrative services for a pathology practice at Inova's Central Laboratory and Pathology Institute.

  • Develops and implements administrative protocols in business and research rules to ensure compliance in accordance with Good Laboratory Practice, Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments regulations and any other regulatory agency requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Years of Experience: 2 years of progressive experience in a healthcare setting
