Department:ICE | MUSL | TOSH Sterile Processing StaffDepartment's Website: Summary of Job Duties:The Sterile Processing Educator is an Instrument Technologist who serves as an expert educator with strong knowledge of reprocessing Reusable Medical Equipment(RME). The Educator is responsible for staff education, training, and competencies in various Sterile Processing areas. The Educator ensures that reprocessing activities comply with departmental and hospital policies and are congruent with State Health Department Rules and Regulations, JCAHO standards, HSPA, and AORN and AMMI standards. The Educator is a member of the Sterile Services leadership team and works in collaboration with other team members to support optimal and efficient sterile processes.
