Essential Functions
- Oversees and is accountable for the marketing, messaging, promotion and awareness to customers of programs, products and services including energy efficiency, customer safety programs, digital engagement, paperless, budget payment plans, energy assistance, etc. for all NiSource states where programs exist.
- Collaborates with internal business partners to take ideas from concept to execution.
- Manages projects to establish brand awareness and engagement benchmarks, performance goals, measures of success and key performance indicators for the digital marketing program.
- Interprets the team's concepts into a design that will deliver an effective customer experience.
- Effectively identifies goals and sets direction for marketing and communications plans, including digital communications content, via company-owned and external channels.
- Coordinates with the companies Public Safety/Awareness Administrators to execute on the required marketing and communications components in each state, improve customer education and awareness of home safety through the company branded Know Your Home program.
- Establishes metrics to measure effectiveness of all digital marketing materials; uses data to drive strategy and decision making.
- Collaborate with team members to develop an overall marketing strategy, creative direction and marketing calendar.
- Timely delivery of projects within scope and budget.
Required Qualifications For Position
- Bachelor's Degree in communications, marketing or related field.
- 8+ years of experience managing media and content, design, marketing, advertising or communications initiatives, defining and driving strategy and execution, and brand/reputation management.
- Experience cultivating and managing relationships with key audiences to enhance the relationships with customers.
- Excellent communication skills, including presentation, verbal and written.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with senior executives, direct reports and peers.
- Ability to summarize and report on key accomplishments.
- Ability to manage projects through influence across multiple states and departments.
- Ability to translate business needs into action.
- Ability to maintain the highest degree of confidence.
- Ability to simplify concepts and tailor messages for specific audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to initiate and maintain strategic stakeholder relationships to advance business goals.
- Be comfortable working in an environment with rapidly changing priorities and a fair measure of ambiguity.
Preferred Additional Qualifications for Position
- Master's Degree in Marketing or Communications.
- Excellent financial and business acumen experience.
- Experience in the energy industry.

Salary Range*: $82,200.00 - $123,200.00
*The salary offered to a candidate is based on several factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills, job-related knowledge, and relevant experience, as well as internal pay equity. Posting Start Date: 2026-07-02
