This is a M-F leadership position located on the northeast side of Indianapolis (address is 6130 E. 38th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46226. The hourly pay starts at $19 and also includes full benefits (below). The Manufacturing Team Leader supports the Supervisor(s), manufacturing leadership, quality teams, and production staff in achieving operational goals aligned with the annual operating plan. This role provides direct leadership for assembly line employees while overseeing daily production activities to ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity targets are met. The Team Leader is responsible for front-line people leadership, including coaching, training, performance management, attendance oversight, corrective actions, and support of recruiting and onboarding activities. This role partners closely with leadership to drive accountability, employee development, and operational performance within the assigned area. In addition to production oversight, the Team Leader maintains responsibility for key administrative and operational functions, including production order transactions, performance documentation, incident reporting, labor coordination, and daily KPI performance. Example Duties and Activities
Oversee daily production activities to ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and output targets are achieved. Plan and coordinate work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet operational goals and customer requirements. Lead, coach, and support assembly line employees to drive performance, engagement, accountability, and employee development. Assign and adjust daily job responsibilities based on production priorities and workflow demands. Provide training, cross-training, and follow-up to ensure team members are equipped to perform their roles effectively. Manage employee performance through ongoing feedback, participation in the PDR process, corrective actions, and performance discussions. Support recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and staffing activities for the assigned production area. Monitor attendance, timekeeping, absences, and leave coordination in alignment with company policies and procedures. Utilize Workday and D365 to complete production transactions, reporting, and employee-related administrative responsibilities, including starting, stopping, and reporting production orders. Track and communicate daily operational KPIs, including productivity, quality, efficiency, and safety metrics. Review production documentation and verify products meet quality and customer requirements prior to release to downstream operations or customers. Inspect materials, products, and equipment to identify defects and maintain compliance with quality standards. Monitor processes and equipment performance to identify operational issues and support continuous improvement efforts. Support incident reporting, safety initiatives, and compliance with workplace safety standards and procedures.

Other Requirements
Hard to Very Hard Physical Work - Is able to spend time in excess of 8 hours sitting, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and crouching. Uses hands to grasp, carry, feel, or touch both products and machinery. Has the ability to move and lift 50+ pounds. Can manage frequent exposure to moderate/loud noise. Visual Acuity - Meets the screening requirements of 20/40 vision using both eyes with or without correction. Minimum of 18 years of age
