What you will enjoy doing*
- You will troubleshoot, calibrate, maintain, and repair analog and digital process control instrumentation, analytical equipment, control valves, electrical and electronic control systems, pneumatics, motor controls, computer interfaces, and low-voltage electrical systems (600VAC and below).
- Diagnose and resolve instrumentation, electrical, and process control issues using control logic, schematic wiring diagrams, and P&IDs.
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities, including analytical equipment calibration and repair, while maintaining accurate documentation and equipment history within the CMMS system.
- Further, you will ensure adequate spare parts availability and support the reliability and ongoing performance of instrumentation and electrical assets.
- Maintain the highest standards of safety and environmental compliance while overseeing contractor activities and ensuring adherence to all site safety requirements.
- And you will support plant operations by learning the production process, operating plant systems as needed, and assisting with production technician responsibilities during normal and off-hours operations.
- Work effectively in both office and field environments, including climbing ladders, working from scaffolding, man-lifts, and crane baskets, and performing duties in varying weather conditions.
- Participate in rotating on-call coverage, provide off-hours plant support, and travel domestically as required (typically less than 10%).
What makes you great
- You have an Associate's degree or Engineering Technology degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, or Electrical Technology, or a minimum of 5 years of experience maintaining instrumentation systems and equipment in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Experience installing, troubleshooting, repairing, testing, and calibrating industrial instrumentation systems and equipment, with strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
- Strong working knowledge of electricity, electrical systems, motors, process control systems, and industrial instrumentation applications.
- Ability to read, interpret, and troubleshoot using P&IDs, schematic wiring diagrams (SWDs), and other technical documentation.
- You have proficiency with CMMS platforms, Microsoft Office applications, email, and other standard computer software.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, maintain strong organizational and planning skills, and deliver results with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements, industry standards, codes, and process control methodologies within an industrial manufacturing environment preferred.
