The Institutional North America Marketing team is seeking an Assistant Marketing Manager to lead the Facilities Dilution Control and Floor Care portfolios, with the opportunity to build marketing competencies across innovation, portfolio management, brand building, communication, and activation. This person will define and execute a short- and long-term portfolio vision informed by voice of customer, voice of business, and competitive intelligence to drive growth, improve customer and sales & service associate experience, and optimize portfolio performance across the Facilities segment. Highly cross-functional, the role partners closely with RD&E to advance innovation through the phase gate process and with sales to commercialize new products and programs, while collaborating across Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Regulatory. The successful candidate will bring strategic thinking, strong business acumen, effective communication at all levels, leadership presence, passion for customers, and a commitment to cross-functional partnership.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead innovation pipeline: Define and deliver the Dilution Control and Floor Care innovation strategies across chemistry and dispensing/equipment, owning Phase Gate development from concept through commercialization in close partnership with RD&E.
  • Shape portfolio strategy: Leverage voice of customer, voice of business, and competitive intelligence to evolve the portfolio, close gaps, and drive penetration, retention, and total cost of operations value.
  • Own P&L and portfolio performance: Manage day-to-day portfolio and P&L responsibilities - including forecasting, monthly performance reporting, equipment inventory, margin enhancement, and program simplification to ease selling and ensure right-program-right-customer fit.
  • Activate sales: Partner with Marketing Communications, Segment Marketing, Distribution Marketing, and the sales organization to drive sales activation and deliver portfolio sales targets across.
  • Build cross-functional alignment: Align Corporate Account, Field, RD&E, Finance, Supply Chain, and Regulatory partners; present to and gain approval from Executive Management; and execute through strong collaboration with key stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of professional experience with focus in Marketing or MBA in Marketing with 3 years of experience
  • Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in developing new product launch strategies, including pricing, marketing communications and value proposition development
  • Business-to-business marketing experience
  • Ability to relate to influential people and complex organizational structures strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated initiative and leadership skills setting vision and strategy, planning, critical thinking, orchestrating cross-functionally, overseeing multiple project elements and proven track record of results
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, organizational skills, good attention to detail and use of sound judgement in a fast-paced environment are essential

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The base salary range for this position is $107,600.00 - $161,500.00. This position is eligible for annual bonus pay based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
