Slot Floorperson - Part Time

Responsibilities:

• Knows and abide by Hard Rocks policies, procedures, internal controls and courtesy guidelines.
• Performs all duties in accordance with state gaming regulations.
• Responsible for quickly answering illuminated candle lights on slot machines.
• Enrolls new guests in the Encore players club.
• Maintains & continually updates knowledge of regulations set forth by the Mississippi Gaming Commission and the Mississippi State Tax Commission regarding attendant regulations.
• Responsible for verifying and paying Hand Pay Jackpots according to jackpot payout policies and procedures.
• Safeguards company assets assigned.
• Completes W2G Form for taxable Jackpots.
• Makes minor repairs on slot machines.
• Maintains knowledge of property information & memorabilia.
• Maintains cleanliness of assigned work area.
• Ensures making card for guests as outlined by departmental performance standards.

• Good judgment and common sense.
• Ability to deal with people in a manner which shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism.
• Ability to work all shifts to include weekends and holidays also work 6-day work weeks when required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral & written).
• Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with all Hard Rockers and guests.
• Ability to understand and promulgate written memos, instructions, regulations.
• Basic knowledge of mathematics. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
