Position Summary

The Digital and IT Analyst defines, configures, tests, trains and supports business-related information technology requirements and systems.
Leads limited scope projects using information technology to enable business improvement and perform critical analysis under limited
supervision.

Scope/ Supervision and Interaction:

Collaborates with other Technical Analysts, Senior Technical Analysts, and end users.

Essential Functions:

  • Provides analytical advice and direction for application and technology that impacts business operations; Understands how applications and
    technologies impact the business.
  • Analyze and apply Enterprise data to make recommendations / modifications to streamline & simplify processes while reducing
    operating costs.
  • Develops and deploys appropriate Digital and Information Technology solutions.
  • Establishes and develops procedures for proper utilization of Digital and IT technology.
  • Develops and delivers training to support process changes and new technology introductions.
  • Evaluates and modifies existing technology to allow for changes in business requirements or equipment configurations.
  • Overnight travel to remote locations to assist in the implementation of technical solutions as needed.
  • Provide after-hour technical support as needed.
  • Assist in training and mentoring new team members.

This position may be assigned (but is not limited to) one of the following key information technology disciplines and/or services:

  • Application Programming
  • Software Support
  • Database Administration
  • PC Support
  • LAN/WAN Support
  • Help Desk
  • Engineering Systems
  • Business Systems (MSS, JDE, SAP or other related technology)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related area (or international equivalent) preferred
  • 2+ years related IT experience (5+ years related IT experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated leadership aptitude, learning agility, and adaptability.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, relates well with all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrates ability to manage projects.
