We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Adult Residential Support Professional to join our team. LSS Neillsville Center is a comprehensive Substance Use Disorder treatment program for adult men, providing trauma-informed residential services in a supportive, recovery-focused environment.


This is a full-time, benefits-eligible, 2nd shift position offering the opportunity to be part of a collaborative team dedicated to empowering individuals to achieve sustainable recovery.


Schedule

37.5 hours per week | Alternating Schedule


Week 1



  • Monday-Wednesday: 3:45 PM-12:15 AM
  • Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM-8:30 PM


Week 2



  • Tuesday-Thursday: 3:45 PM-12:15 AM


Weekend shifts are required as part of the alternating schedule.


What You'll Do

As an Adult Residential Support Professional, you'll play an important role in supporting residents throughout their recovery journey by:



  • Building positive, supportive relationships with residents.
  • Monitoring resident safety and well-being.
  • Assisting with daily living activities, housekeeping, and meal preparation.
  • Administering and monitoring medications according to program guidelines.
  • Documenting resident progress and maintaining accurate records.
  • Responding calmly and effectively during emergencies or crisis situations.
  • Encouraging residents to meet their treatment goals and develop independent living skills.
  • Facilitating educational groups and life-skills activities.
  • Transporting residents to appointments and community activities.
  • Maintaining confidentiality while providing trauma-informed, person-centered care.
  • Working collaboratively with a dedicated interdisciplinary team.

What You'll Bring

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in human services, behavioral health, healthcare, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to establish professional boundaries while demonstrating empathy and compassion.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to complete DHS 83 training after hire.


Work Environment

This is an active position that requires frequent movement throughout the residential facility. Responsibilities include supporting residents both indoors and outdoors, assisting with light housekeeping and seasonal outdoor tasks, and transporting residents to appointments and community activities. Some travel (approximately 25-50%) may be required.
