We're looking for a Chemical Process Operator to join our aerospace manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role focused on masking and preparing parts for production processes. You'll work with specialized materials, follow detailed work instructions, and help ensure every part meets quality requirements before moving to the next operation.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Apply masking materials and coatings, including Dymax products
  • Fill internal cavities with powder and other approved materials
  • Mix production materials such as T64, C1, C2, and CMC according to procedures
  • Mask part surfaces using approved materials and techniques
  • Cure masking materials and trim excess as required
  • Perform masking repairs and touch-ups as needed
  • Inspect parts to ensure masking is accurate, clean, and meets requirements
  • Complete traveler documentation and maintain production logbooks
  • Track hourly production performance
  • Follow work instructions, technique sheets, and diagrams
  • Maintain 5S standards and a clean, organized work area
  • Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Follow all company quality, safety, and environmental requirements
  • Ensure compliance with IPM, QPM, and ISO quality standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned


What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Basic manufacturing experience or knowledge preferred
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Comfortable interpreting technique sheets, drawings, and diagrams
  • Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Reliable attendance

This position may require work hours outside of the regularly scheduled hours to meet operational needs. This may include work during evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Additional work hours are assigned based on business requirements. Non-exempt employees will be paid overtime in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.


The salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation within the range is determined by multiple factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, job related skills, internal equity, and market conditions. We evaluate each candidate individually to ensure fair and competitive pay decisions.
