Job Summary: The BIM Lead is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of the BIM team and spearheading large BIM projects. General Job Duties and Responsibilities: Ability to perform all BIM Coordinator's responsibilities. Oversee and track model and drawing progress for multiple projects. Be the technical and design first point of contact for the BIM team. Review contracts & contract documents to ensure compliance with contract terms. Review models and drawings for quality assurance/quality control in accordance with CAD/BIM standards, and project-specific BIM execution plan. Meet with clients (existing and potential), contractors, and project staff. Other responsibilities as assigned. Oversee and supervise Oversee and supervise BIM Coordinators and overall activities of the BIM team, including staffing, job assignments, and training. Interview applicants and train new hires. Conduct performance reviews, including setting and tracking goals. Develop training materials to meet IES and BIM team needs. Other responsibilities as assigned. Min USD $90,000.00/Yr. Max USD $120,000.00/Yr. Qualifications Physical and Mental Requirements: Must be self-motivated, positive in approach, professional, and help create, develop, and implement project process improvement(s). Must promote the Company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients, and business partners. Must possess proven problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills, and the ability to effectively read, write, and give oral presentation(s). Must possess the ability to work in confined spaces. Must possess the ability to comfortably use/climb ladders. Regular attendance is mandatory Education, Certification, License, and Skill Requirements: Must possess at least a High School Diploma or GED equivalency; Associates Degree Required. Must have at least five (5) years of experience working as a BIM Coordinator, Detailer, or modeler. Must possess five (5) years of experience or equivalent education/training that demonstrates the usage of computer-aided design software. AutoCAD and REVIT experience and proficiency required. Visio and Navisworks experience is a plus. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Email. Must have the mental capacity to understand and apply job-related concepts, technologies, instructions, procedures, computer and software operations, input data and create/annotate drawings with a very high degree of accuracy consistently with high output and minimum supervision. Must meet Company minimum driving standards. Objectives and Goals to Measure Performance: BIM team's ability to adhere to current company CAD Standards and project-specific BIM Execution Plans. BIM team's ability to consistently complete projects under budget. Timely and accurate models, exhibits, and shop drawings accordingly to the project schedule Customer/Client satisfaction Positive Attitude Personal and professional growth through education and training.
