The Labor and DeliveryAide performsa variety of clerical duties,maintainscleanliness and organization of the unit, andassistswith patient care, including preparation of the surgical patient. Works under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA),Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), orEmergency Medical Technician (EMT).

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Completion of Surgical Tech program or at least 1 year of related experience.
