About the Resort & Spa

Bayside Spa at Horseshoe Bay Resort is located along the shores of Lake LBJ in the Texas Hill Country, approximately 45 miles northwest of Austin. The spa offers a lakeside setting within landscaped resort grounds and delivers a full range of services, including massage therapy, body treatments, and salon services.

The environment combines natural surroundings with a professional spa setting, serving both leisure guests and conference visitors.

Position Summary

The Hair Stylist is responsible for delivering professional salon services to guests and members while maintaining service quality and operational standards in a resort spa environment.

Key Responsibilities



  • Provide hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, and texturizing
  • Consult with clients to assess needs and recommend services and products
  • Promote retail products and home-care solutions
  • Maintain sanitation standards for workstations, tools, and equipment
  • Prepare and restock supplies to support daily operations
  • Address guest questions and service concerns in a timely, professional manner
  • Participate in training, team meetings, and cross-functional support as needed
  • Monitor product usage and contribute to retail and service revenue goals


Qualifications



  • Minimum 2 years of professional hair styling experience
  • Current state cosmetology license required
  • Strong technical skills in cutting, coloring, and treatments
  • Effective communication and customer service skills
  • Organized and able to work independently
  • Ability to stand for extended periods


Requirements



  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Completion of a cosmetology program (technical/vocational training)
  • Basic computer skills for scheduling and transactions
