Compensation: Up to $60K/yr. (Based on experience)
Schedule: 40hours /week

  • Prepare monthly invoices for Commercial and Residential tenants for rent and common area charges.
  • Prepares monthly corporate billings to affiliates for the following charges AMEX, FedEx, Home Depot, Capital One, Payroll, Overhead, Insurance and various others.
  • Handle all special billing.

What You'll Do:
  • Perform daily financial transactions including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivable data.
  • Deposit daily receipts by means of remote scanning or taking them directly to the bank.
  • Work closely with Residential Community Manager regarding billing, collections, tenant move-ins and move-outs of residential tenants.
  • Reconcile the accounts receivable ledgers with the general ledger to ensure that all payments and charges are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Generate accounts receivable reports and provide updates to management regarding collection process.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with tenants and serve as main point of contact for questions regarding their accounts.
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging reports for delinquencies and directly follow up with tenants to resolve.
  • Ensures that all rent rolls are accurate and true by updating MRI when there are changes in any of the leases.
  • Perform all monthly closing procedures.
  • Assist CFO, Controller and Director of Property Management when required.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • Associate Degree
  • 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or accounting.
What Sets You Apart:
  • Proficient knowledge of accounts receivable and billing processes.
  • Must be a team player and able to communicate with all levels of co-workers and management.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing ever-changing priorities.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Must possess a fundamental knowledge of standard accounting procedures.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Previous experience working in a commercial property management environment
  • Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Previous experience with the MRI property management software
Additional Information:
  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
