POSITION TITLE: Senior Human Resources Generalist (Part-time, 20 hours/week)

POSITION SUMMARY:

The HR Sr. Generalist is a part-time position responsible for managing the entire employee life cycle for Calibr, including recruitment, hiring, onboarding, compensation, transfers, promotions, and terminations. Serving as the on-site HR representative for Calibr, the HR Sr. Generalist provides front-line support on HR-related inquiries, serves as the initial point of contact for employee relations issues, facilitates the annual performance evaluation and bonus programs, and partners with people managers and senior leaders on decisions impacting employees.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:



  • Manages the entire employee life cycle for Calibr division, including recruitment, hiring, onboarding, compensation, transfers, promotions, and terminations.
  • Acts as on-site HR representative for the Calibr operating division providing front-line assistance with HR-related inquiries from all levels of staff.
  • Initial point of contact for resolution of ER issues, escalating as needed.
  • Ensures comprehensive approaches to recruitment, onboarding, employee performance management, career progression, accommodations, compensation, and mentoring.
  • Partners with International Office to coordinate the Visa process for Calibr foreign nationals.
  • In conjunction with the Scripps, Director of People & Organization, facilitates and manages the annual performance evaluation process (including administration of bonus programs) for Calibr division.
  • Identifies opportunities for training programs and resources to support employee performance, engagement, and collaboration and works with the HR team to develop and disseminate those trainings and resources.
  • Partners with people managers and senior leaders on strategic and tactical decisions involving/impacting employees.
  • Stays abreast of current relevant state and federal employment laws and latest developments in recruitment strategies, techniques, HR programs and technologies as well as AAP, EEOC, and OFCCP compliance. Modifies systems and processes in response to changes in regulations.
  • In conjunction with HR team members, participates in the development and implementation of new or revised human resources programs, systems, procedures, and methods of operation.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related discipline or equivalent combination of education, training, and related experience.
  • Human Resources Certification preferred.
  • 7+ years of Human Resources generalist experience.
  • Strong background managing in-house recruitment process utilizing applicant tracking systems.
  • Compensation experience including drafting job descriptions, position benchmarking, and pricing.
  • Demonstrated understanding and ability to articulate, apply and enforce applicable state, federal laws and regulations and internal policies and processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills demonstrating a professional demeanor.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and project/program management skills.
  • This position requires an on-site presence 4 days per week, 5 hours/day with some flexibility.

COMPENSATION:

The expected hiring range for this position is $63,900 TO $70,450/annually per year, commensurate with experience. Consideration will be given to experience that exceeds the listed requirements.
