BETTER TOGETHER Medical Laboratory Technologist/Medical Technologist - Purchasing Coordinator Full Time 1.0 FTE Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Occasional weekends Primary Site: Sauk Trails Clinic Laboratory This position is eligible for a $3000 SIGN ON BONUS for joining GHC! (Referral amount prorated based on FTE) Join our team as a Laboratory Purchasing Coordinator, where you'll split your time between performing high-quality clinical laboratory testing and managing the procurement of supplies that support five laboratory locations. This role offers the opportunity to help optimize laboratory operations, assist in the research and evaluation of new products, collaborate with vendors, and ensure our laboratories have the resources needed to provide exceptional patient care. The Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT) - Registered is responsible for performing laboratory procedures as ordered by a provider. Medical Technologists - Registered work as generalists in the areas of: Chemistry, Hematology and Urinalysis. Responsibilities include performance of lab tests from all Group Health Cooperative of South-Central Wisconsin (GHC-SCW) locations in any or all departments; performance of quality control, troubleshooting, and maintenance functions; collection of specimens; and other tasks as assigned. This position is also responsible for provision of technical support to Medical Laboratory Technicians, providers, and other GHC-SCW internal staff. The MT - Registered works under the general supervision and guidance of the Medical Laboratory Services Manager, Medical Technologist - Chief and/or Medical Technologist - Lead.
