Sigma Defense is seeking a Senior Logistician to manage the logistical aspects of product life cycles, including coordination or provisioning of samples, and the minimization of obsolescence.

This is a contingent position that is pending award of contract. This means that the position is subject to the successful awarding of a contract and will be confirmed once the contract is finalized. The candidate selected for this role will be offered the position on the condition that the contract is awarded to our organization.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience as a logistician within the DoW environment.
  • Experience Substitution: 1 academic year at an accredited college or university in an an accredited preferred degree related post-secondary program for 1 year of experience.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or related field of study.
  • 6 additional years of experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.

Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):

  • Develop and implement logistics program activities including ILS, technical documentation, RAM, and provisioning.
  • Resolve logistics problems and compile data on standardization and interchangeability of parts to expedite logistic activities.
  • Perform system life-cycle cost analysis, and develop component studies.
  • Plan, organize, and execute logistics support activities such as maintenance planning, repair analysis, and test equipment recommendations.
  • Stay informed on logistics technology advances and government policies.
  • Manage the logistical aspects of product life cycles, including coordination or provisioning of samples, and the minimization of obsolescence.

Salary Range: $45,000 - $75,000 annually.
