May perform complex electrical wiring and /or mechanical assembly of robotics equipment/machines. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Essential Functions Statement(s) * Assemble fabricated and purchased parts using assembly drawings and parts lists * Mechanical assembly requiring fitting, alignment and adjustments to close tolerances * Perform mechanical alterations * Use hand and power tools for assembly * Use of test equipment to perform functional testing * Read and interpret assembly drawings and electrical schematics/wiring diagrams * Test performance of electromechanical assemblies, using test instruments i.e. oscilloscopes and multimeters * Read blueprints, schematics, diagrams or technical orders to determine methods and sequences of assembly * Inspect parts for surface defects * Install electrical or electronic parts and hardware in housings or assemblies using hand tools * Verify part dimensions or clearances to ensure conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Competency Statement(s) * Accountability - Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions. * Accuracy - Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly. * Adaptability - Ability to adapt to change in the workplace. * Detail Oriented - Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task. * Honesty / Integrity - Ability to be truthful and be seen as credible in the workplace. * Ethical - Ability to demonstrate conduct conforming to a set of values and accepted standards. * Reliability - The trait of being dependable and trustworthy. * Responsible - Ability to be held accountable or answerable for one's conduct. * Safety Awareness - Ability to identify and correct conditions that affect employee safety. * Problem Solving - Ability to find a solution for or to deal proactively with work-related problems. * Working Under Pressure - Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations. * Self Confident - The trait of being comfortable in making decisions for oneself. For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $26.00 to $35.00 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year.
