Salary range: $19.00-$32.00. Pay is based off of experience.
40hrs/wk M-F 8-4:30 or 8:30 - 5
Summary
Responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient patient check-in and discharge process by providing excellent customer service, collecting patient information, verifying insurance coverage, explaining policies and procedures, and handling patient questions.

Essential Functions
Greet patients in a professional and friendly manner.
Collect and verify patient demographic and insurance information, and enter the information into appropriate systems.
Schedule appointments and confirm patient information.
Explain insurance and billing policies and procedures to patients.
Process payments and provide receipts.
Obtain pre-authorizations for procedures as needed.
Handle patient questions, concerns, and issues, escalating complex or difficult situations to Patient Access senior staff or the manager as appropriate.

Licenses and Credentials
Experience
admitting, scheduling, registration, or insurance verification experience 1-2 years preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification procedures preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic computer proficiency.
