Job Duties and Responsibilities
IURIF is hiring a part-time researcher to support research projects and outreach to increase understanding of the relationship between transportation and economic development. The Researcher may serve as Co-PI and/or support research teams, overseeing project scope and data collection, and coordinating project deliverables.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications
Master's degree; 10+ years of research experience, including work as a principal investigator.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with the Transportation Policy and Economic Competitiveness Program.

About the Department

The Institute for Urban and Regional Infrastructure Finance (IURIF) aims to advance research and engagement on strategic issues of infrastructure investment across urban and rural areas. It promotes and amplifies the scholarship in the Humphrey School of Public Affairs in multiple areas of expertise, including state and local public finance, infrastructure sustainability, and urban and regional affairs.

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: $43 per hour - $72 per hour; depending on education/qualifications/experience.

Retirement plan options are available for Civil Service, Faculty, Labor-Represented, Professional & Administrative, and Temp Casual classifications. Learn more about retirement plans.
