Job Description

The Opportunity

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) is seeking an Assistant Men's Soccer Coach. This position will assist the head men's soccer coach with teaching and coaching responsibilities with the men's soccer team. In addition, this position will assist with recruiting, scouting and operations.

This position is scheduled to be elevated to full time status as of July 1.

Additional responsibilities include Intramural Coordinator and other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Evaluation, development and improvement of player skills

  • Develop and implement on-field practice plans to improve player skills

  • Direct in-game coaching

  • Assist with or lead team and individual film sessions

  • Evaluation and recruitment of potential student-athletes

  • Breakdown and evaluation of opponent game film

  • Prepare scouting report for assigned opponents and present the report to the coaching staff and team

  • Weekly check-In with current/past/potential student-athletes

  • Other duties as assigned by the head coach

Qualifications

Required Education and Qualifications

  • High School (or GED) level ability in grammar, spelling, basic composition, and math.

  • First Aid/CPR

  • Basic knowledge of the game of soccer
