Job Summary

The SAP Capital Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting capital spending activities for plant startup and ongoing operations by managing purchase order processes, coordinating SAP deployment activities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role ensures accurate capital expenditure tracking, supports procurement activities, maintains system integrity, and promotes safe work practices while meeting operational and project objectives.

Job Responsibilities



  • Manage the SAP capital expenditure purchase order process from purchase order creation through goods receipt.
  • Coordinate activities within the capital spending purchase order system to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional project teams and stakeholders to define, prioritize, and execute SAP deployment activities.
  • Support operational needs by partnering with internal departments.
  • Participate in change management and order management processes, including evaluating pricing, processing requests, and assessing cost and schedule impacts.
  • Coordinate capital spending negotiations with supply chain and procurement teams.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to capital expenditures and purchase orders.
  • Promote and maintain a safe work environment by following established safety policies and procedures.
  • Identify and help mitigate operational risks related to assigned responsibilities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Job Requirements



  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with SAP in a production, procurement, purchasing, or buyer role required.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required.
  • Experience managing purchase orders and capital expenditure processes.
  • Working knowledge of SAP, Ariba, and Versatex systems and processes.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and continuous process improvement.


Education



  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required.


Work Experience



  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with SAP in a production, procurement, purchasing, or buyer role required.
